TR2 IR 6360

The historic TS2 is pictured here at Dublin's Howth Castle, with her original 1953 Irish Registration number IR-6360.

Built on 22 July 1953, this is the first right hand drive Triumph TR built by the factory. Her chassis/VIN number is TS2.

Subsequently she was exported to the UK and is now owned by the members of TR Register UK.

TR2 IT 3714

IT-3714 is a 1955 CKD TR2 and one of just two Works TRs built in Ireland and paid for by Standard-Triumph Coventry. This local assembly was done to avoid very high import duties on FBU vehicles.

IT-3714 is the Laird-Collie Works TR2 whilst PRI-222 was Paddy Hopkirk's Works TR2.

This numbers-matching hugely historic TR2 was found by our club members in 2017, lying for the previous 37 years in a garage in Dublin. She was bought and sympathetically restored single-handedly by a club member using over 90% of the original car.
